We are currently looking to recruit for the following 2 jobs;


Centre Manager Maternity Cover - Potentially for up to 15 months

We are looking to recruit maternity cover for the Centre Manager to manage the Centre, it’s staff and volunteers, as well as the events and activities delivered on a day to day basis. The candidate should understand the ethos of volunteering, have a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to manage a varied workload. You will oversee the team of over 80 volunteers, and ensure the smooth running of the Centre. Computer literacy is essential, event management experience will be useful. Throughout you will work to ensure a positive visitor and volunteer experience which reflects the Centre’s mission to be at the hub of the community. As an experienced professional, you will have strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to build and manage teams and develop effective working relationships, both internally and externally. You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual. The role will require some weekend and evening working. Full time position. Salary dependent upon experience.    

Part Time Events Manager

We are looking to recruit a part time Events Manager to support the Centre Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the running of the venue and acting as the Duty Manager at  scheduled live events and screenings. The applicant should understand the ethos of  volunteering, have a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to manage a varied workload. They will take responsibility for the delivery of events including supervision of staff, volunteers and visiting artistes. As a key holder, the applicant will be responsible for opening and closing the building and be comfortable with lone working at unsociable hours. Working closely with technicians there will be a potential for manual handling, training will be given. This role is weekends and evenings at an hourly rate.
